Located in a dedicated building on the Canterbury campus, UKIC is at the heart of student life, surrounded by the on-site student accommodation village.</p> <p> </p> <p>Established through a collaborative initiative between the University of Kent and the Oxford International Education Group (OIEG), UKIC officially launched on April 19, 2024. Situated within the Cornwallis building on the University's Canterbury campus, UKIC offers international students a supportive pathway to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Kent.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Pathway Programs: Unlocking Academic Success</strong></p> <p>UKIC provides students with three main academic pathways, tailored to meet their individual needs and goals:</p> <ul> <li><strong>International Foundation Programme (IFP): A Bridge to Undergraduate Study</strong> A one-year course equivalent to A-levels, designed to bridge the gap between students' current qualifications and UK undergraduate study. The IFP includes intensive English language training and subject-specific modules, providing a solid foundation for academic success.</li> <li><strong>International Year Zero (IYZ): A Seamless Transition to Degree-Level Study</strong> An integrated first year of a four-year undergraduate degree, combining English language development with core subject modules. This pathway is ideal for students seeking a seamless transition into degree-level study, with a strong focus on academic preparation and personal growth.</li> <li><strong>International Incorporated Master’s (IIM): Enhancing Postgraduate Potential</strong> A preparatory program lasting one or two terms, tailored for students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for a Master's degree.
